We are looking to employ an individual to lead our wraparound team in the school Nursery. This appointment is permanent from September 2017 for 32.5 hours per week.
Our wraparound service provides a caring environment to nurture children’s development, where they feel happy, confident, inspired and stimulated to learn through play and creative activities and we are seeking to engage an enthusiastic person who can build positive relationships with adults and children.
Candidates need a recognised childcare qualification to level 3 or above. The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Leader to ensure Nursery and Wraparound children’s needs are catered for, the day to day management of the classroom is effective and the environment is productive and positive including planning and implementing an appropriate curriculum working within the Early Years Foundation Stage, along with a range of activities to ensure that the national Standards for Full Day Care are being met and that they reflect positively the linguistic, religious and cultural diversity of the community.
